How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign works by straightening your teeth with a series of custom-fitted aligners. Each aligner is designed to shift your teeth slowly over time. You can expect to wear your aligners for 20-22 hours every day. As you continue to wear each new set of aligners, your teeth will gradually shift and align over 1-2 weeks.
Invisalign is removable, so you can take your aligners out for meals and to participate in your favorite sport or physical activity. Best of all, Invisalign is nearly invisible once placed in your mouth, making it a more discreet alternative to traditional orthodontic therapy. Be sure to rinse your aligners out and clean them every day as directed by your dentist.
